Hello, two-wheeler enthusiasts and readers at MotorBhai! And today we would be discussing about the bike which is very important to its manufacturer, and it’s the Honda Rebel 300. So, without wasting any more time, let us discuss what all it has to offer, its specifications, rivals, prices and when is it going to be launched!
Engine
The Honda Rebel 300 is going to be powered by a 286cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which produces a maximum power of 30.4PS at 8000RPM and 27.4 NM of torque which comes in at 6500 RPM. This engine would be paired alongside a 6-speed manual gearbox along with an assist and a slipper clutch. The slipper clutch prevents the rear wheel from locking up when the rider does hard downshifts whereas the assist helps in reducing the clutch lever effort. Expect a mileage close to 33.63 km/l from this engine which is quite respectable for this motor. This is the same engine as we have seen on the CBR300R but how this engine fares in the Rebel 300, we can only tell it once we ride it. So, stay tuned for a detailed riding experience as well.
Suspension
The Rebel 300 is going to have a 41mm telescopic front fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The rather small 16-inch alloys are wrapped with fat 130-section front and 150-section rear tires for this cruiser bike which are tubeless, and dual disc brakes are going to be standard. And keeping up with the competition, Honda is sure to offer ABS as standard in the Rebel 300.
