What makes them even more pleasing is that it is quite impossible for people to not take notice of you while you are riding a RE because of the impression of the loud exhaust, which helps it distinguish from other bikes and the appeal of the classic design they have. Also, the go-anywhere capability of most of the RE bikes makes it even more desirable to own!
Royal Enfield commands a huge fan-following in India as we all know, and today we would be discussing what are Royal Enfield’s future plans in India and what are some of the exciting bikes which Royal Enfield would be launching this year that have also been spotted testing many times by enthusiasts on the road. So let get us started without further wasting any time!
Royal Enfield Launches in 2021.
- Royal Enfield Cruiser 650
The Royal Enfield Cruiser 650 has been spotted many times on the road testing with additional accessories and is one of the most awaited bikes in the 650cc cruiser segment. If rumors are to be believed, the Cruiser 650 is going to be powered by the same 648cc parallel twin-cylinder fuel-injected BS-6 engine producing 47 PS of power @ 7150 RPM and max torque of 52 NM @ 5250 RPM which we have already seen in the Interceptor 650. This engine would be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and there are high chances that the cruiser 650 would also feature a slipper clutch.
The cruiser 650’s seat height has also been kept low and would offer excellent driving posture as cruiser bikes are known for.
On the exterior front, the bike has been spotted with muscular fuel and round headlamps with LEDs. Going by the testing snapshots of the bike, we really like how the bike looks and is sure to be a head turner for a lot of Royal Enfield lovers.
Talking of prices and the time of launch of the Cruiser 650, it is expected to be launch in mid-2021, i.e., around the month of June-July, and should be priced between ₹3,00,000- ₹3,50,000. Indeed, the cruiser 650 would be a cruiser bike worth waiting for!
- Royal Enfield Hunter 350
The second most awaited bike from Royal Enfield has to be the Hunter 350 which has also been spotted testing many times by enthusiasts. And expect the Hunter 350 to be powered by the same engine as we have seen in the Meteor 350 i.e., a 349cc Single-cylinder four-stroke air-oil cooled engine with a maximum power output of 20.4 PS @ 6100 RPM & maximum torque output of 27 NM @ 4000 RPM.
Royal Enfield would be aiming huge numbers for this motorcycle as they are going to price it aggressively, and for the masses. And what better way than styling it similar to the Interceptor 650. If rumors are to be believed, Royal Enfield would also be providing the option for personalizing the Hunter 350 according to the owner’s choices. If priced right, this could be a game-changer for Royal Enfield. And we are expecting it to be priced around ₹ 1,70,000 which could go up to ₹ 2,00,000 on-road. Expect the bike to reach showrooms in August-September 2021.
- Royal Enfield Classic 350 Next Generation
We all know what a legendary bike the classic 350 is, and it actually needs no introduction as its road presence is enough for that. And soon Royal Enfield is going to launch an updated version of this bike. Clips of this bike have also been doing the rounds on the internet and Royal Enfield is soon going to launch it. Royal Enfield has maintained the vintage look of the bike, with a few modern touches like LEDs on the front headlight and on the indicators which are first on any Royal Enfield bike.
The instrumental cluster has now been upgraded to a semi-digital unit which now comprises an analog speedometer and digital odometer and trip meter. On the safety front, a bigger disc brake has been added to the rear wheels. Royal Enfield would be improving the vibration on this bike and gearbox for a greater ride experience. Some parts have been found similar to the Meteor 350 as well. The Classic would be most probably launched with the same engine with some minor tweaks and expect it to now come with a price hike of ₹5K-12K to the current prices. Expect the next generation of the Classic 350 to be launched by mid-2021 i.e., in the month of July-August.
